Carl Millender, Director/Producer once again is directing a riveting project and at the same time he’s introducing a new way of casting. By using similar platforms that are used in American Idol and America’s Got Talent , America gets to vote for their favorite actress or actor to portray the lead roles of the TV series.
Millender’s open door policy for writer-producers and executive producers has allowed this series to adapt in the new social media environment. He has teamed up with Producer Jeff Diaz, Sue Ann Taylor and John Anderson to produce this great new crime drama.
In “Clairvoyance”—think Cold Case meets Sleepy Hollow; Detective Marisa Ellis has been an officer of the law for 6 years and recently made Sgt. Detective. She believes she is following in the footsteps of her father. He recently retired from the force due to a mysterious illness. Through a strange sequence of events Marissa begins to experience a strange sense of Clairvoyance. Now her regular detective work takes a wild new paranormal turn. Detective Ellis comes across a hidden box of files labeled unexplained and unsolved cases. Each episode, the audience will follow Marissa as she solves a different case from these files.
Millender’s success in the 2006 Atlanta Homicide Television show on the COLOURS TV Network inspired him to reach beyond the small screen and to write narratives for the silver screen. His feature films in the family genre include For Honor of Glory and The Good Ole Day and the soon to be released At Mamu’s Feet.
Other writers for the series include Adisa Iwa known for Dark Angel, Law &Order SVU, and NYPD Blue and also Rufus B. Williams’s writer for House of Payne and Frank’s Place.
